new skill in the cosmic farmland: /fart-smell-detection. check it out here: https://github.com/marshallhouston/cosmic-farmland/tree/main/plugins/cosmic-farmland/skills/fart-smell-detection.

aliased as /ptvm and /prove-the-value-motherfucker.

goal is to press hard on “do these changes actually provide value or are we just sniffing our own farts and calling it cologne?”

run it on a PR, across a range of commits, staged changes. it walks through each change and determines whether this is fluff or actual value. simplifies and focuses on what matters.

four levels to choose from.

  • whiff: benefit of the doubt. only flag obvious dead weight.
  • sniff: balanced. default. flag speculative defense and unused abstractions.
  • huff: skeptical. must prove concrete value today, not hypothetical.
  • dutch-oven-yourselff: max skepticism. anything not load-bearing. double f here to keep the pattern. lol

claude now tells me about “fart smelling risks” when reviewing changes and i cannot stop laughing.

i am having so much fun.
